Historically, gazing balls, which are a type of garden sphere, were used by kings and queens to bring luck and beauty to their properties. Some of the legends say that such spheres had the power to ward off evil spirits, bad luck, sickness and even had the ability to thwart witches.  In today’s world, a garden sphere is used to accent a specific area of your outdoor space or garden, adding a bit of enchantment or drawing attention to a specific area.  Spheres are supported by a welded metal base, copper pole or can be placed directly on the ground. The spheres are dyed concrete in abstract patterns with welded metal bases.
